Creative Careers Education Co-Ordinator


Creative Alliance is looking for someone who passionately believes young people have a right to honest and high quality information and advice about learning, training and working in the creative industries. 

Their compass online platform has been developed and tested with support from Arts Connect. It's now ready to roll out to schools and colleges across the West Midlands. Your job will be to develop and deliver a package of workshops for young people and training for staff that introduces schools & colleges to Compass and encourages them to use the platform to have conversations with creative professionals. 

You'll be:

  • Delivering workshops in schools and colleges to educate young people about the jobs people do, the skills people need and the first steps people take into paid work in the sector.
  • Setting up Compass Conversations between young people and creative professionals. Compass is Creative Alliance's on-line platform that uses Google hangouts to create and then archive conversations. 
  • Providing training sessions for teachers and other professionals about careers in the creative and cultural industries. 

Hours: Full time position, 37.5 hours a week.

Salary £23,000
