In light of increased racism and islamophobia in the UK, come join a discussion and and workshop on how we can increase young BAME participation in the political process. Polling has shown that many young members from ethnic minority backgrounds are put off politics when they witnessed the open Islamophobia and Racism in the London Mayoral Elections and EU Referendum. What can be done to overcome these barriers? What concrete action can be put in place to allow young BAME people to effect positive change in their local communities?

If you are under 30 and from a BAME background and want to get involved, come to our workshop and discussion.
